Maskerade 2012

Last month I have been to the Maskerade in Panningen the Netherlands. This is a bodypaint festival. The photo's have been made on Kodak t-max film. 2 x iso 400 and one film iso 3200 but shot as 1600 and developed as such. The photo's have been printed on Agfa half tone film. Expired and badly stored over the years.

So the new darkroom is going. Turns out the owner of the building is not planning on turning on the heat unless it starts to freez. It is to big to heat with 3 small electrical heaters. Building e smaller piece inside the darkroom defeats the purpose why I took it. At home the space is small enough. Not really sure what a cold slightly damp spacis doing for the paper, equipment and chemicals but I really don't want to take the risk. However on the bright side. I can seave more money now. Now for something different. Today I went to the Maskerade to shoot some photo's. At the moment some of them are hanging to dry. If anything decent has stuck to the film I'll post it here tomorrow.

Darkroom it is new!

Last week I signed a contract on the lease of a space in an abendoned school near Maastricht. I plan on using it is my darkroom. Finally I have a space where I can print my photo's and do some experimenting. I can't wait to get started. Hoewever first I have to clean it up and to move all of my analogue darkroom gear. Two or three weeks ago I went out on a rainy saturday to take some photographs. I loaded up my eos 50 with an Ilford fp4+ 125 iso. Sometimes you don't have to go far to see some nice places. Tho folowing images are shot near Kanne in Belgium. A little war cemetary. Almost forgotten and oh so small...

Marollen Summer 2012

This summer I went to a neighbourhood in Brussels called de Marollen. In this neigbourhood there is a little market where people sell stuff. It is kinda a like a garage sale. However this market takes place everyday and stuff that is sold there can be really crap. However I went there to buy some old negatives and some old photoalbums. While I was there I made some shots on Pan F film. No not the Ilford Pan F.
