Darkroom

Below are 2 photo's of my darkroom. Currently I am in the process cleaning it out so I can put my new enlarger in there. Will it fit in there? Yes barely but it should work and I will have a nice little space to print some photographs. But first the cleaning needs to be done!

Last friday I went to Rotterdam to pick up an enlarger. I had to take a trailer with me to move it to Maastricht. It weighs quite a lot and it is big. About 2 metres tall and about 160 kilo's. I put it in a storage box because at the moment I don't have the room for it at home. So I started this weekend to clean out my room. When that is done I will take the enlarger to put it into it's final destination. Hopefully it will be in working order for Art academy starts on the first of september.
I am so happy with it. I'll post some pics later.

BMX Masters 2011 Koln

Today I went to Koln to shoot some photo's at the BMX Masters. I rented a 70-200 mm lens to try it out. I need to be more precise aiming cause quite a lot or off. Anyways here a 2 shot I really like.

Large Format

Couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to get me some 8x10 film. So last week Tuesday I got my pack of 25 sheets of 8x10 inch film. Of course I immediately got the stuff out and made a test shot. The next day I developed the film so I could print it on Thursday.
I did a terrible job focussing and scanning but here the first shot is:

12-6-11 why?

I'll tell you why i stopped posting a photo everyday. I ran out instax and the money to buy new film. I will keep on posting (again).
So today i am off to shoot some photo's in town. Well at least i'm going onto town with 2 camera's. Maybe i will shoot something good.

I also prepared some sheets of paper to make some new cyanotypes again coming week. I also have a piece of cloth drenched the stuff. Really curious about that one.
